Filippo Magnini, Canducci’s testimonial, tells himself in a photobook titled “Beyond my water”, introduced in the capital city of Italy, Rome. It is a collection of pics that suggestively speak about the life of the twice world champion in the freestyle short distance. His girlfriend, Federica Pellegrini, is obviously present both in the photobook and in the book launch event. Giovanni Malagò, president of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) presided over the press conference. Among the speakers, there were important people of the sport press world: the president of LaPresse photo agency, Marco Durante ex swimming trainer, Piero Mei press manager of 2009 World Championship in Rome, Giorgio Scala official photographer of international swimmers and Davide Canducci president of Canducci company. With his speech, he could appreciate how the photo book could describe all the moments of sacrifice, hard work and dedication that athletes live before getting in contact with water. The volume was published by the publishing company L’Archivolto that will allocate the proceeds to the Italian Association against Leukemia (AIL) based in Pesaro, where Filippo is testimonial. |
