PRESTRESSED BEAM: GEPS® The GEPS beams are the ideal solution for structural grids with wide dimensions or with heavy loads. Thanks to GEPS Beams it is possible to realize wide spans, more than 70 m long; the GEPS Beams are structures without horizontal constraint forces. The GEPS Beams can be used instead of structures with 3 hinges, such as arches or portals or trusses characterized by a remarkable overall height.
The GEPS Beams with wide spans are realized by segments which can be easily transportable. Pre-stress is advantageous for connecting segments and simplifies connections.
